Bars, Cafes and Restaurants in Granada

Most cafes, bars and restaurants in Granada are located close to Parque Central.

The main ´tourist street´is La Calazada. Lots of tourist friendly bars, together with nuisance begging and all the other stuff you expect on a tourist street.

Here are our recommended places to eat and drink in Granada.

Happy hour- 5 to 7 pm- at Bistro Estrada, a beautifully restored colonial building-pictured above- near Parque Central with A/C.

Bocadillos has imaginative cocktails and Bocas.

Margaritas 2 blocks from La Calzada is a good sports bar popular with local expats.

Reillys Bar is popular with a twenty something crowd, Friday night is Ladies Night, free rum and coke.

The Garden Cafe- 1 block from Parque Central is a reliable choice for your granola and fruit, breakfast bagels, freshly made smoothies and more in a pretty courtyard garden setting.

Hotel Dario has probably the best cup of coffee in Granada.

Cafe Los Suenos on La Calzada has the best salads in town.

The best lunch in Granada is at El Garaje, we like the BBQ Tandori Chicken sandwich.

El Camello has good Mediterranean salads and Thai Curries.

Best place for a steak is El Zaguan behind the cathedral.
